STARTING POINTS QUALITY STAR RATING
Starting Points changed ownership in October 2022. We had to operate under a new license – for 3 months it was a “provisional” license and we now have a “continuous” license. This change resulted in the loss of a “Quality Star Rating” despite the fact that we had consistently received a 3-star rating. We have gone through 7 Quality assessments since October 2022. However, several of them did not ‘count’ since we were under a provisional license at the time. The end result is that we will not receive a Quality Rating Score until October 2024. We want to assure you that the quality of care we currently provide is the same level of care we have provided for the last quarter of a century. We encourage prospective parents to tour our center and see what makes our center different from other child cares. We provide quality care in a home-like environment with an emphasis on nature-based, play-based learning.
PRESCHOOL2ME
Starting Points uses this app as a communication tool between teachers and parents. We have had nothing but positive comments about this communication tool. Through this app parents have access to weekly lesson plans along with receiving pictures and comments about their child’s day.
Starting Points has a Facebook page. On this page we post valuable news and post pictures of children enjoying a variety of activities.
